G-NCAP, an organization that tests vehicles for safety worldwide, has crash-tested the Maruti Ertiga. The organization’s unit is tested in India but is offered in African countries.
Got One Star In The Test
In the test conducted by Global NCAP, Maruti Ertiga received only one star for adult safety and two stars for child safety. According to the test report, the vehicle scored 23.63 marks out of 34 for adults and 19.40 marks out of 49 for children.
Marks Obtained After Frontal and Side Test
According to the Global NCAP report, in the frontal offset test, the protection on the head of the driver and passenger was better. But the protection on the driver’s chest was very low. In the side movable barrier test, the driver had good head protection and adequate chest protection. According to the test, the frontal bodyshell integrity was unstable.
The Car Had Features Like ABS
The car tested had frontal airbags for the driver and passenger, a seat belt pre-tensioner and load limiter for the driver, a seat belt reminder, an ESC, and an ISOFIX safety feature for children.
