When Will Tata Curvv Be Launched?
There is a lot of excitement about the launch of Tata Motors’ new electric car. This car was going to be launched in the early months of this year 2024. But the launch of Tata Curvv has now been shifted to June. Tata’s electric car can be seen in the market during the festive season.
Petrol and diesel versions of this car will also be launched soon. Production of these versions can also start in September. These variants of Tata Curvv can come on the market at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025.
Tata Curvv Powertrain
Tata Curvv can have a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine, which generates 125 hp. This engine is also associated with a manual and automatic transmission. Nexon’s 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder engine can be found in its diesel variant. The EV variant of this car may be built on Tata’s Generation 2 acti.ev architecture. Tata Curvv EVs can range from 450 km to 500 km on a single charge.
Tata’s Electric Cars Boom
Tata Motors has decided to launch the first electric variant of Curvv. This can be taken as a kind of strategy. It shows that Tata’s electric models have achieved success. Tata’s Nexon EV and Punch EV are currently in the Indian market. Tata Curvv EV can give tough competition to its company’s vehicles, as well as the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti eVX.
