Twitter New CEO: Linda Yaccarino has taken over as the new CEO of Twitter from Monday. Yaccarino, the former president of Global Advertising and Partnerships at NBCUniversal, has also hired NBCUniversal Executive Vice President Joe Benaroche to work with him on Twitter. According to a report published late Sunday night in the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Benaroche has been Yaccarino’s trusted advisor.
“Tomorrow, I’m starting a different profession at Twitter, focusing on business operations,” Benaroche wrote in the WSJ memo. “I look forward to bringing my experience to Twitter and working with the entire team to build Twitter 2.0 together,” he added.

Yaccarino said last month that she was ready to create Twitter 2.0 and transform the business with Musk and millions of platform users. She posted on Twitter I have been inspired by the vision of Bright Future for a long time. I’m excited to bring this vision to Twitter and help transform this business.
Yaccarino also commented I am equally committed to the future of this platform. Your feedback is important for the future. Let’s keep the conversation going and build Twitter 2.0.
Welcome to the flock, @benarroch_joe! From one bird to the next.
Let’s get to work @Twitter! #timetofly
