What Is Brain Bleed?

Brain bleeding, also known as brain haemorrhage, is a type of stroke that occurs when an artery or vein bursts due to abnormal pressure, trauma, and a defect in the blood vessels.

What Causes Brain Bleed?

Talking about its causes, it can be the result of many conditions like high blood pressure, brain tumour, brain aneurysm and many other factors. Statistics say that apart from blockage in blood vessels, brain bleeding is the second most common cause of stroke.

What Happens In Brain Stroke?

Brain haemorrhage causes dizziness in your head. Since your brain can’t store oxygen, it depends on a series of blood vessels to supply it with oxygen and nutrients. When bleeding occurs, blood leaks or bursts from a blood vessel, which pools inside your skull and brain.

How Dangerous Is Brain Bleed?

Additionally, bleeding in the brain is common after falls or traumatic injuries, which is also common in people with uncontrolled high blood pressure. Bleeding in the brain can be a life-threatening medical condition, taking only 3-4 minutes for your brain cells to die if they don’t get enough oxygen.
