Adam Zampa was retained by Rajasthan Royals ahead of the IPL 2024 mini-auction. Zampa played 6 matches last season and took eight wickets. He made a match-winning contribution by taking three wickets against Chennai Super Kings. Zampa took 29 wickets in 20 matches earlier while playing with Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rising Pune Supergiant in the IPL.
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Prasidh Krishna was out of the entire season due to quadriceps surgery. The franchise has not yet announced the replacements for both Zampa and Prasidh. Rajasthan Royals included five players in the squad in the IPL 2024 mini-auction. The team bought Rovman Powell 7.4 crore), Shubham Dubey (5.80 crores), Tom Cadmore (40 lahks), and Nandre Burger (50 lahks).
