HAL has removed the picture of Lord Hanuman from its aircraft in Aero India. This image was used above HLFT-42. It is a training aircraft that was displayed during Aero India 2023. The slogan ‘The Storm is Coming’ was written with the picture. A picture of Lord Hanuman was seen on the wing of HLFT-42 during the exhibition on Monday.
The Aim Was To Show The Strength Of The Aircraft
An official of HAL’s headquarters in Bangalore said that the name of the aircraft of HAL was HF-24 Marut. It was taken from there. He said there was no specific motive behind putting Lord Hanuman’s picture on the aircraft’s wing. According to the official, this picture was put only so that the strength of this aircraft could be shown.
There Are Many Features.
HAL first displayed a scale model of the HLFT-42 at Aero India. As far as the features of this aircraft are concerned, it is the next-generation state-of-the-art combat aircraft. It also has many other features. For example, there are Active Electronically Scanned Array, Electronic Warfare Suite, Infrared Search and Track etc.
