This Is The Identity Of The Real Murrah Buffalo

The colour of the Murrah buffalo is dark black. Rarely, there may be white markings on the face and upper parts of the legs, but these are not necessarily white.

Unlike other buffaloes, the horn is short, hard, curved backwards, upward, inward, and flat. The horns become slightly loose as age increases, but the spiral curves increase.

The eyes of Murrah buffalo are black, active and bulging. In buffalo, they are slightly shrunken.

The tail is black or white (maximum 6 inches) and has a long tail that reaches the joint of the fetus.

The neck of a buffalo is long and thin, whereas the neck of a male buffalo is thick and heavy.

The ears are small, thin and alert.
