Huge Crowd Seen In UP and Bihar Train
The festive season is going on in the country. During Diwali, Bhai Dooj and Chhath, a vast crowd is seen in UP-Bihar trains. It is worth noting that due to a crowd at the railway station, an incident of stampede was reported in Surat. Due to this, one passenger died, and some passengers became unconscious. Apart from this, an incident of charge was also reported at Chhapra station.
Railways has decided to allow only travelling people to enter the railway station during the festive season. Railways had decided to run 300 special trains given the festivals, but these trains are also proving inadequate. Many passengers complained they could not reach their seats even after confirming their tickets. This also includes AC Tier 3 and 2 passengers.
