Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited Maharashtra after five years, offered prayers at the famous Shirdi Sai Temple of the state on Thursday (October 26). Apart from Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, state CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis were also present with him in the temple premises. He has inaugurated the queue complex built in the temple. Its foundation stone was also laid by PM Modi in the year 2018.

Will Dedicate Canal Network For 182 Villages To The Country
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), after inaugurating the queue complex at Sai Temple, PM Modi will worship the water of Nalwande Dam and dedicate a canal network adjacent to it to the country. 182 villages in seven tehsils will benefit from the 85-kilometre-long canal network. It includes six tehsils of Ahmednagar district and one tehsil of Nashik district.
Special Initiative For Farmers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached Maharashtra after a long gap, has also taken special initiatives for the state’s farmers. He will launch ‘Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana’. Under this, more than 86 lakh farmers of Maharashtra who benefit from Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be given additional assistance of Rs 6000 annually.
The PM will also distribute the Central Government’s ambitious health insurance scheme, the Ayushman Card, among the beneficiaries. He will inaugurate the Commonwealth Games in Goa. After this, he will also inaugurate the 37th Commonwealth Games in Goa in the evening.
