Farmers Will Get Free Onion Seeds

The government runs the Rabi Onion Scheme under the Integrated Farmers Horticulture Scheme, in which free onion seeds will be made available to farmers. Farmers must register in the Horticulture Department. Farmers will be prioritised based on a first-come, first-served basis. The farmer can register online or directly at the office to benefit from this scheme.

Farmers will need three documents the most for this: the Khatauni of the farmer’s name, bank passbook, and Aadhar card. The farmer should also have a registered mobile number. To benefit from this scheme, you must register online. Farmers can register at https://dbt.uphorticulture.in.

Benefits Will Be Available On A First-Come, First-Served Basis

District Horticulture Officer CP Awasthi told Local 18 that the Rabi Onion Scheme is going on for farmers. Farmers need to register online to get benefits. Farmers can also register online from outside. Apart from this, you can also come to the department on working days and register online. Farmers will not have to pay any fee for this. After applying and checking the farmers’ documents, they will benefit from this scheme based on a first-come-first-serve policy.
