Jaipur Dairy: Saras Milk Price Increased, Booth Operators’ Commission Also Increased

The new price of milk will be applicable from August 11. The dairy administration has announced an increase of Rs 2 per litre in all milk brands.

The price of Saras milk has been increased in Rajasthan. Jaipur District Milk Production Cooperative Union announced an increase of Rs 2 per litre in all brands of Saras milk. This will affect the Jaipur and Dausa districts the most, where more than 10.60 lakh litres of milk is supplied daily. The new milk prices will be applicable from the supply on the evening of August 11.

The Commission Of Booth Operators Has Also Increased

The Jaipur Dairy Administration has also increased the commission of booth operators by 3 per cent. Since 2017, the price of Saras milk has increased 10 times. One litre of Saras milk was sold for Rs 38, but now it is Rs 52 per litre.

Prices Were Also Increased In January 2023

Let us tell you that the price of milk increased in January 2023. After that, the prices were increased again in March, but after political opposition, the dairy administration had to withdraw its decision.
