Why Fined

Rajasthan Royals Jos Buttler was fined for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during Match 56 of IPL 2023 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on May 30, 2020, IPL said in its statement. A fine of 10 per cent of the fee has been imposed. Butler has breached Level 1 regulations under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

Small Mistake Cost A Lot

In the second innings of the match, when RR’s team came on the field to chase the target given by KKR, Jaiswal got his teammate Jos Buttler to run out. When Butler was leaving the area after being dismissed, he angrily hit the rope on the boundary with his bat. Due to which IPL fined him.
