Gujarat Titans young batsman Sai Sudharsan spoiled the condition of the bowlers with his explosive batting in the IPL 2023 final against Chennai Super Kings. Sudharsan played an excellent inning of 96 runs in 47 balls. However, he missed his century by just 4 runs.
Due to this blistering inning of Sudharsan, Gujarat scored 214 for 4 in the final match against CSK in the allotted 20 overs. In the game, CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni had decided to bowl first after winning the toss, but his decision proved utterly ineffective.
Coming to the crease to bat, Sudharsan started hitting from the very first ball. In his explosive innings, he scored runs at a strike rate 204.26, including 8 fours and 6 sixes. CSK captain Dhoni also did not work in front of Sudharsan. Whatever bowler he put against him, everyone was beaten to death.
CSK Has Got The Target Of 215 Runs
In the final match against Gujarat, CSK will now have to score 215 runs in 120 balls. Although the pitch looks helpful for the batters, achieving such a big target is not easy, but it is not impossible to happen in the T20 format. In such a situation, if Gujarat has to win this match, it will have to put pressure on CSK from the beginning.
While talking about CSK’s bowling in the innings, Tushar Deshpande proved to be the most expensive for the team. Tushar gave away 56 runs in four overs, in which he did not get a single success. Apart from this, Matheesha Pathirana also spent 44 runs.
However, two wickets came in his account. Besides this, Ravindra Jadeja also got a breakthrough and finished 38 runs in four overs. At the same time, Deepak Chahar also gave 38 runs in four while not getting a single wicket.
