Former India cricketer Suresh Raina will represent India Maharaja in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) Masters, which will be played from March 10 at the Asian Town Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar. Raina has represented India in 18 Tests, 226 ODIs (5615 runs) and 78 T20Is (1605 runs).
Left-handed batsman Suresh Raina, who scored a century on their Test debut, is also the first Indian to score a century in all three formats of cricket, and his centuries were made outside India. India Maharaja, Asia Lions, and World Giants teams will participate in LLC Masters.
On his association with LLC Masters, Raina said in a media release, I am looking forward to being a part of LLC Masters. The format is such that we will represent India again. It is always a pleasure to represent your country. We will focus on bringing home the trophy this time.
Raman Raheja, co-founder and CEO of Legends League Cricket, said, We have added around 20 new senior players to the pool of fifty players for this season. We welcome Raina and Harbhajan to Legends League Cricket. We hope to see some great innings from these legends for India Maharaja. The first match of the Legends League Cricket Masters will be played between India Maharaja and Asia Lions on March 10.
Irfan Pathan, Mohammad Kaif, Naman Ojha, Ashok Dinda, Pakistan’s Misbah-ul-Haq, Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Eoin Morgan and Monty Panesar from England, Shaun Tait and Aaron Finch from Australia and West Indies in Legends League Cricket International cricketers like Chris Gayle will participate.
