Besides Mohammed Tahir and Auqib, Srinagar’s pacer Samiullah Dar has joined Kolkata Knight Riders. He is yet to represent Jammu and Kashmir but was among the top wicket-takers in the event conducted by Jammu and Kashmir last season. Anantnag district left-arm pacer Mujtaba Yusuf has joined Chennai Super Kings.
Although he was a regular contender in the IPL auction, he did not find a place in the team. Pacer Basit Bashir signed with Mumbai Indians, and Waseem Bashir signed with Lucknow Super Giants. Both have represented Jammu and Kashmir at the junior level.
