Like every time in IPL 2023, the Royal Challengers Bangalore team’s dream of winning the title remained unfulfilled. The team could not qualify for the playoffs this season and got eliminated. After being out of the tournament, for the first time, the post of the team’s star batsman Virat Kohli has appeared on social media, where he has spoken his heart.
Virat Shared The Post
After being ruled out of IPL 2023, RCB star batsman Virat Kohli has posted on his social media account. He tweeted that there were many unforgettable moments in this season, but we were a little behind our target. We have been disappointed, but we should keep our heads high. I express my gratitude to all the team supporters who always sported. Big thanks to the coach, management and fellow players of the team. Our target is to come back strongly.
A season which had it’s moments but unfortunately we fell short of the goal. Disappointed but we must hold our heads high. To our loyal supporters, grateful for backing us every step of the way. pic.twitter.com/82O4WHJbbn

RCB’s Performance Has Been Like This
The team of Royal Challengers Bangalore has won only 7 out of 14 league matches played in the current season, while the team has faced defeat in the remaining 7 matches. Had the team won the last league match against Gujarat Titans, it would have become the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs, and Mumbai Indians would have had to look their way out of IPL 2023. RCB finished their journey by staying at the fifth position in the table.
Kohli Did A Tremendous Performance
Virat Kohli batted very deadly in IPL 2023. In the 14 matches he played, he scored 639 runs with the bat, including 6 half-centuries and two centuries. In the current IPL season, Kohli is the second-highest run-scorer after Faf du Plessis. Kohli has scored runs this season at an average of 53.25 and a strike rate of 139.82. His highest score has been 101 not out.
