PM Modi in the US: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the State Dinner held at the White House on Thursday (June 22), hosted by US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. The state dinner menu included many dishes, from marinated millet to grilled corn kernel salad. About 400 guests were involved in the state dinner. During this, PM Modi and Joe Biden were also seen joking lightly. Joe Biden joked with PM Modi about toasting without alcohol.
US President Joe Biden, referring to his grandfather’s advice, said that his grandfather used to say that if there is no wine in your glass, you should toast with your left hand. Not only this, Biden further said that all of you feel that I am joking, but it is not so. During this, Joe Biden said it is good news that we do not drink alcohol. When Joe Biden said this, everyone there could not stop laughing and started laughing openly.

These Things Were Included In The State Dinner
Special arrangements were made for the state dinner organized for PM Modi. America’s First Lady Jill Biden had already talked about different dishes and the speciality of PM Modi’s dinner. A theme was also kept for this dinner, in which every table was decorated with green and saffron flowers like the colour of the Indian flag.
Also, due to PM Modi being a vegetarian, special care was taken. The menu included Lemon Dill Yogurt Sauce, Crispy Millet Cake, Summer Squash, Marinated Millet, Grilled Corn Kernel Salad, Compressed Watermelon, Tangy Avocado Sauce, Stuffed Portobello Mushroom, Creamy Saffron Infused Risotto and Infused Strawberry Shortcake. For Jill Biden introduced Chef Nina Curtis and told her what is the speciality of which dish.
