PM Modi Saudi Crown Prince Conversation: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) gave this information. PM Modi thanked Saudi Arabia for its help during the evacuation of Indians from Sudan in April and extended his best wishes for the upcoming Haj Pilgrimage.
The PMO said that during the telephone conversation, the two leaders reviewed several matters of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on multilateral and global matters of mutual interest.

Prime Minister Modi thanked Saudi Arabian Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for the “excellent support” provided by Saudi Arabia during the evacuation of Indian nationals from Sudan via Jeddah in April 2023, according to a PMO statement. Also, Prime Minister Modi extended best wishes for the upcoming Haj pilgrimage.
India Had Set Up A Transit Facility In Jeddah.
India had set up a transit facility in Jeddah in April to evacuate Indians from crisis-hit Sudan. India had taken the people evacuated from Sudan under its evacuation operation ‘Operation Kaveri’ to Jeddah, from where they could return home.
The Two Leaders Agreed To Stay In Touch
The statement said, adding that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his full support for the initiatives being taken by India as the G20 chairman and said he looked forward to his visit to India. It has been told that both the leaders agreed to stay in touch.
