US Is Running Out Of Money To Help Ukraine, Russia’s Victory Confirmed?

The United States is running out of time and money to help Ukraine fight Russian aggression, the White House said Monday. This big statement from the White House came when the U.S. Parliament refused to release more money. The White House has said it runs out of money to help Ukraine unless Congress approves a new package.

In October, The Biden administration asked Congress to approve a $106 billion package for border security and aid for Ukraine and Israel. Still, the Republican Party’s majority House rejected this demand of the Biden administration.

Money To Help Ukraine Runs Out

In a letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Monday, Shalanda Young, President Joe Biden’s budget director, said time was running out to help Ukraine.

“I want to be clear, without Congressional action, we will run out of resources to purchase more weapons and equipment for Ukraine and provide equipment from the U.S. military stockpile by the end of the year,” she wrote.

She further wrote, “No magical means of funding are available to meet this moment. We are out of money and almost out of time.”

Shalanda Young further wrote in her letter that “Cutting off the flow of American weapons and equipment would force Ukraine to surrender on the battlefield, jeopardizing not only Ukraine’s gains but also the possibility of a Russian military victory.”

At the same time, White House national security spokesman Jake Sullivan said that Russia may benefit if the package is not passed soon.

He told reporters at the White House that “Congress has to decide whether to continue supporting the fight for independence in Ukraine … or whether Congress will ignore the lessons we have learned from history and strengthen Putin.”

What Do Republican Leaders Say?

House Speaker Mike Johnson has given his response to the letter. “The Biden administration will address any legitimate concerns of my conference about the lack of a clear strategy in Ukraine, a path to resolving the conflict, or a plan to ensure accountability for assistance provided by American taxpayers adequately,”

He also said that any national security package “must start from our border.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat, claimed Monday that both parties agree on funding for Ukraine and Israel and blamed the impasse on border security.

Schumer said Republicans have “introduced partisan and excessive immigration measures into the debate” such as “indefinite detention” of asylum seekers, a proposal that Democrats say goes too far.

Meanwhile, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said his party is “still at the table.”

It is believed that the Republican Party will no longer release money to help Ukraine, and Russia, which has taken a huge lead in the war, is now preparing to crush Ukraine completely because Russia knows that American help is about to stop and in such a situation the door to victory may open for Russia.
