Johnny Depp is donating the settlement money he got from his ex-wife Amber Heard to charity. Depp will donate the $1 million settlement money he received from Amber to five different charities, including $200,000 to one charity. This charity works for the treatment of sick children.
According to a CNN report, Johnny Depp has chosen five charities to donate the settlement fund, including Make-A-Film Foundation, The Painted Turtle, Red Feather, Marlon Brando’s Tetiaroa Society Charity and Amazonia Fund Alliance. All of them work for the education and health of the children.

Johnny Depp and co-star Amber Heard entered a relationship while shooting for The Rum Diary (2011). After dating for several years, they had a secret wedding in 2015 at their Los Angeles home. Amber filed for divorce from Johnny on May 23, 2016, during which Amber accused Depp of physical abuse and assault while under the influence of drugs.
