What Will Be The Mileage
According to the latest report, Bajaj Auto will only install the CNG kit on its entry-level bikes. In such a situation, it is expected that it can be installed in Platina or CT series bikes. Its ARAI-certified range is 70 km. In such a situation, this mileage is expected to be much higher in the CNG model.
Engine and Power
Bajaj may use the existing 110cc engine in its upcoming CNG bike, as seen with the Platina 110cc and CT110X. This engine installed in it produces power of about 8.6 PS and a maximum torque of 9.81 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Bajaj CNG motorcycle may also get a 125cc engine with the CT125X. But CNG-fitted bikes may have less power than petrol.
Where Will The CNG Kit Be Installed?
Bajaj Auto is believed to have installed the CNG kit under the bike seat. Apart from this, the price can start from around Rs 80 thousand. Regarding the price, the price of CNG models can be higher than that of petrol-powered models. According to the source, it can be launched by the end of this year. If an affordable CNG bike from Bajaj comes into the market, it can be a game changer.
