Top 10 Selling Cars: Maruti Baleno is number one in the top 10 best-selling cars in India in November, with 20,945 sold. It is followed by Tata Nexon (15,871 units) in second, Maruti Alto (15,663 units) in third, Maruti Swift (15,153 units) in fourth, Maruti Wagon R (14,720 units) in fifth, Maruti Dzire (14,456 units) on the sixth, Maruti Dzire (14,456 units) on seventh Maruti Ertiga (13,818 units), Hyundai Creta (13,321 units) at eighth, Tata Punch (12,131 units) at ninth and Maruti Brezza (11,324 units) at tenth.
On the other hand, if we talk only about the best-selling SUV, then Maruti Brezza is very low in that, too; it has been at number four. Tata Nexon sold the most in the SUV segment during November 2022, with 15,871 sold. Nexon’s price starts at Rs. 7.70 Lakh.
After this, Hyundai Creta was at number two, which has sold 13321 units in the last month, while in November 2021, only 10,300 units were sold. At the same time, Tata Punch was at number three, which sold 12,131 units in the last month. Tata Punch has just completed one year of launch and has already overtaken Brezza in sales.
Tata Punch’s price starts from just Rs. 6 lakhs and then goes up to Rs. 9.54 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top variant. It is cheaper, smaller and less feature-rich than the Brezza but is selling well.
The Tata Punch gets a smaller engine than the Maruti Brezza. The Brezza comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine while the Punch receives a 1.2-litre petrol engine. Its engine can generate 86 PS/113 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox (optional).
