Elon Musk Invites Warren Buffett: On Monday, Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, invited billionaire Warren Buffett, counted among the world’s most prominent investors, to invest in Tesla. The news about Elon Musk’s Tesla does not seem to favour the company as it did before.
Elon Musk’s India Tour Postponed
Elon Musk was supposed to visit India at the end of April last month, but his visit was suddenly postponed. At that time, he had expressed his inability to come to India, citing mandatory meetings with investors, but within a week, he visited China. Elon Musk’s Tesla has been trying to invest and enter India for a long time. However, this matter has not yet come to fruition due to non-compliance with some conditions of the Government of India.
Warren Buffet Was Invited To An Ex-post
“Warren Buffett should take a position in Tesla. This is an obvious move,” Elon Musk said in a post on X. Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway has a stake in Chinese EV maker BYD but not in Tesla. In response to a post last weekend citing Buffett’s advice about spending time with loved ones, Elon Musk said, “He would like to spend the last day of his life with his children.”
Tesla Is Facing Losses
Elon Musk is trying to restructure or reorganize Tesla. The electric car company Tesla registered considerable losses in the January-March quarter of this year. The company’s net profit fell 55% to $1.13 billion from $2.51 billion in the year-ago quarter. Tesla company is facing challenging times amid a global slowdown in EV sales.
Elon Musk Has Already Asked Warren Buffett To Invest In Tesla
