IRCTC Brings New Feature, Money Will Be Deducted Only After Confirmed Ticket

Indian Railways takes many steps to make train travel enjoyable. Now there is good news for the passengers travelling on railways. If you also book a ticket online, payment has to be made immediately, and the money is deducted from the account instantly, but now this will not happen.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced a new feature. The name of this feature is Auto-Pay. Money will be deducted from the account only when the ticket is confirmed. The money will remain in the account if the ticket is not confirmed.

This feature will be at the top of the IRCTC website or mobile app. Let us know how the autopay service works.

How Does IRCTC Autopay Work?

With Auto Pay, you no longer need immediate payments while booking tickets. The amount of your ticket is blocked. Money is deducted from the account when the ticket is confirmed. The blocked or held money remains in the account if the ticket is not confirmed. After this service, the passenger will not have to wait for the refund.

Who Will Benefit

The biggest benefit of this service will be for passengers who book railway e-tickets. If the ticket status shows waiting in the e-ticket, auto-pay will be very helpful. In this, the hassle of deducting money from the account if the ticket is not cancelled, and there will be no need to wait for the refund.
