Jewar Airport to Offer Diverse Food Options; HMSHost India Wins Contract

Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) said on Thursday that it has offered a contract to HMSHost India to construct and operate restaurants, cafes, and other food outlets at the upcoming Jewar airport.

Let us tell you that HMSHost India is a subsidiary of Avolta AG, a global travel experience company with operations in 75 countries and 1,200 locations and three segments – F&B (Food & Beverage), Duty-Free and Convenience. There are 5,500 sales points in.

Compromise With TFS

This is the second F&B contract awarded by NIAL. NIAL is a joint venture between the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Noida Authority, Greater Noida Authority and YEIDA (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority).

On March 6, NIAL signed an agreement with TFS as its first concessionaire to set up a world-class lounge and multi-cuisine food and beverage outlets at the airport.

The airport, located about 75 km from Delhi in the Jewar area of Gautam Buddh Nagar in western Uttar Pradesh, is scheduled to start flight operations by the end of this year.

With the partnership with HMSHost India, NIAL said it aims to create an impressive range of offerings that will serve quality food in a hygienic environment and enhance the overall experience at the airport.

Experience Affordable Food

The airport stated that the outlets will provide customers with a world-class yet affordable dining experience.

Airport CEO Christoph Schnellmann said that with its global expertise in the hospitality industry, NIAL is confident that HMSHost will bring a unique and customer-friendly ambience to the airport dining experience.

He said we aim to create an impressive range of offerings that blend local flavours with global cuisine, ensuring a proper balance that caters to diverse appetites.

Jagvir Rana, Managing Director, Indian Subcontinent, Avolta, said, We are extremely honoured and grateful for the opportunity given us by Noida International Airport… and operate seven brand new outlets. Currently, the first phase of the airport is being developed.

In the first phase, with one runway and terminal facility, the airport can handle 12 million passengers annually. According to officials, upon completion of all four phases, the airport will be able to serve 70 million passengers per year.
