Golden Globes hosting actor and standup comedian Jo Koy tried to aim at the audience and Britain’s royal family during his opening monologue. Koy first praised the nominated shows but later made fun of them.
Koy said that I liked the TV shows nominated this year. ‘Succession’ is ending after four great seasons. I wanted everything about it. ‘Succession’ has received nine nominations. It’s about a rich, white, dysfunctional family. Then he said that such is ‘The Crown’ series. Let us tell you that ‘The Crown’ is based on the story of the British royal family.

Koy didn’t stop there; he also talked about the working habits of the royal family. He said Harry and Megan Markle got millions for doing nothing, only from Netflix. Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos was seen laughing at Koy’s statement.
Martin Scorsese Also Targeted
After this, Koy said in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon that white people steal everything. You guys steal 100 per cent of everything. You took the land, you took the oil, you took the basis of the film. However, Scorsese did not seem to laugh at the joke.
Hosting this program for the first time, Koy told the audience not to expect much from him regarding his performance. He said that I was given this work only ten days ago. Let us tell you that Koy has appeared in four standup comedy specials on Netflix, and the sitcom ‘Awkwafina is Nora from Queens’.
