Emergency Release Date Postponed: The controversy over Bollywood’s famous actress and BJP’s Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’ is deepening continuously. The Sikh community protested against this film and also threatened its release.
Kangana Ranaut’s film got embroiled in controversies before its release, and the matter reached the High Court. Now, Kangana’s film has been postponed for release on the scheduled date amid heavy controversy. A reliable source informed News Waker about the postponement of the film’s release. However, the makers have not stated this matter so far. It is expected that the makers can put forth their point on this matter on Monday.
‘Emergency’ Was To Be Released On 6 September
Kangana plays former PM Indira Gandhi in this film, which she also directed. Kangana’s upcoming film was ready to hit theatres on 6 September, but amid heavy controversy, It will not be released on the scheduled date.
Emergency Is Being Accused Of Being Anti-Sikh

The Sikh community alleged that the film was anti-Sikh. People even threatened Kangana Ranaut and the makers not to release the movie.
A Petition Was Filed In The High Court Against Emergency
Opposing Emergency, Mohali residents Gurinder Singh and Jagmohan Singh filed a petition in the High Court, arguing that the film should first be shown to the representatives of the Sikhs. After this, voices of protest were continuously raised against the film. Akali Dal and SGPC also opposed the release of Emergency.

In addition to Kangana, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhary, and the late actor Satish Kaushik will appear in Emergency. However, the audience must wait for the film’s new release date.
