Maharashtra Board has taken a significant decision regarding the 10th and 12th examinations. Under this, the 10th and 12th Board 2024 examinations will not be given ten minutes of extra time. According to media reports, board students will now be given only three hours to solve the question paper. Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has revised the timing of the 10th and 12th Board 2024 examinations.

According to this, students will get 3 hours to solve the question paper and will not get 10 minutes extra time to read it. According to the media report, the board says this decision was taken because, during the previous year’s examination, there were cases of alleged question paper leakage during the time given for reading it. The board said that the extra study time for checking this has been removed, and now 10 minutes will be given to take the exam.

Maharashtra Board Exam 2024: Exams Will Be Held In February – March

Maharashtra Board exams for Class 12 begin on February 21, while Class 10 annual exams are scheduled for March 1, 2024. Per the official schedule, the Higher Secondary Certificate examinations will be conducted until March 23. The Secondary School Certificate Examination will be conducted until March 22, 2023. There will be a first language paper on the first day of class on the 10th. At the same time, the English paper will be conducted before the paper in class 12th.
