BPL Ration Card: There is good news for ration card holders. They are going to get rice, wheat, and millet for free. The date of free ration distribution for April has been revealed in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh. Let us tell you that under the National Food Security Act 2013, free rations will be distributed at government shops from 13 to 29 April.

During this period, regional food inspectors, supply inspectors, and other officers will continue to inspect the distribution. If irregularities are found in ration distribution, strict action will be taken against the concerned quota holder. In addition, under the new system in April, the ration will be distributed through e-weighing linked e-POS machines.

In this regard, the District Supply Officer said that between April 13 and 29, food grains will be distributed to Antyodaya and eligible household card holders at ration shops. This distribution will be done through the new e-pass machine. He further said that Antyodaya cardholders will get 14 kg wheat, equal rice and 7 kg millet per card. At the same time, the eligible household ration card holders will be ensured free distribution of 1 kg wheat, 2 kg rice, and 2 kg millet per unit.
