David Warner was recently seen playing in the three-match Test series against Pakistan, the last series of his career. Earlier, it was decided that Warner would land at the Allianz Stadium next to the SCG, but now his helicopter will land on the SCG outfield. Warner’s Sydney Thunder teammate Gurinder Sandhu praised Warner for his commitment to coming and playing for the Thunder.

“He is putting in a lot of effort to come and play for us,” Gurinder Sandhu said. I will be happy to see him here. He was brilliant for us last season. Maybe he didn’t score as much as he would have liked, but he learned much from being on the squad. He is a better team man. All the fans want to watch him play.

Sydney Sixers fast bowler Sean Abbott made fun of Warner’s Hollywood-style entry and said that Warner’s return would be a gift for the fans. He said, “He’s a bit of Hollywood, isn’t he? That’s just Dewey. I got a Lime bike today, and I’ll do the same tomorrow night and be out the gate as soon as Dewey gets off.”
