IND vs NZ 3rd T20: The last match of the three-match T20 series between India and New Zealand is being played in Napier today. New Zealand decided to bat after winning the toss and got all out for 160 runs in just 19.4 overs in this match.
However, Glenn Phillips and Devon Conway’s innings were essential in New Zealand’s reaching this score. While chasing this score, the Indian team lost three wickets in the beginning, after which captain Hardik Pandya handled the innings.
Hardik Pandya Hit A Six Off Team Saudi’s Ball
Chasing a total of 160 runs, the Indian team got off to a terrible start and lost the wickets of both their openers, Rishabh Pant and Ishaan Kishan, in 3 overs. Along with this, Shreyas Iyer was also dismissed.
After the dismissal of Shreyas, captain Hardik Pandya came to the crease and as soon as he arrived, he rained fours and sixes. Pandya had come to hit from the dugout, and he did just that.
Although Pandya played many excellent shots, the most dangerous shot was against New Zealand’s lead bowler Tim Southee in the fifth over. In fact, on the third ball of the over, Southee bowled a dangerous bouncer, which was read by Pandya and to reach the height of the ball, he stood on one leg and turned round and hit a dangerous six. Even the commentators were surprised to see this shot of Pandya, while Suryakumar Yadav stood in front and applauded.
