Mushfiqur Rahim has created history for Bangladesh. He hit the ninth century of his ODI career in 60 balls in the second ODI against Ireland. Rahim hit 14 fours and two sixes in his innings. Rahim completed his century by taking a single off the last ball of Bangladesh’s innings. During his blistering century, Rahim created a new history for Bangladesh cricket.
Rahim has become the fastest batsman to score a century in ODIs for Bangladesh. By doing this, Rahim broke the 14-year-old record. Now the video of Rahim’s century is going viral on social media.
It can be seen in the viral video that Rahim scored his century off Graeme Hume, after which Rahim roared like a lion on the ground, celebrated his fastest century and then again kissed the pitch. In celebration of this, other players were also seen cheering him. All the team members stood up and applauded Rahim’s century.

Rahim Created History By Scoring A Century In Only ’83 Minutes.’
Rahim has also become the batsman to score a century in the shortest time from Bangladesh. At the crease, Rahim completed his century after spending ’83 minutes’, the fastest century by any Bangladeshi batsman in terms of minutes.
Earlier, Mohammad Ashraful had imposed against Australia in 2005. With this, Rahim also completed 7000 runs in their ODI career. He also became the third batsman from Bangladesh to do so. Before him, Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan scored 7000 runs for Bangladesh cricket.
