In the match, Asia Lions captain Shahid Afridi decided to bat first after winning the toss. In such a situation, 2 Sri Lankan veterans, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Upul Tharanga, came as openers, although Dilshan’s innings ended in the second over. He was dismissed by fast bowler Ashok Dinda while dodging the fourth ball. However, wicketkeeper Robin Uthappa had a big hand in getting him this wicket.
It so happened that the ball was going towards the wicketkeeper’s right hand after taking an outside edge from Dilshan’s bat. In such a situation, he tried to catch the ball while making a dive. But it took him three tries to do so. In the first instance, the ball went off his gloves and towards his knee, then again kept coming in his hands.
