The police have identified 27,834 spam numbers and claimed they would be blocked soon. Police will quickly upload these numbers on the CyberSafe portal. Most of the numbers in this list were being operated from Gurugram.

This is followed by the names of Faridabad and other cities. Fraudsters call people in the name of bank executives or any other service and cheat money from them. To avoid them, you have to keep some things in mind.

Do Not Make This Mistake If You Want To Avoid Fraud

Fraudsters always use such tricks to trap users, which creates panic. For example, they can call your credit card in the name of a block or money deduction from the bank.

The first thing that you have to do is not to share any of your information with fraudsters in a panic.

Keep the two-factor setting on for your banking and other accounts. With this, no other person can hack your account quickly.

Most important that you do not share your OTP with anyone else. These days OTP comes even when goods arrive from e-commerce platforms. Understand the difference between these two OTPs.

No officer of the bank asks you for your details.

Spam Calls Will Be Automatically Blocked

By the way, you can automatically block Spam Calls on Android phones. For this, your phone should have Google Dialer. If your default app is Google dialer, you can quickly stop spam calls by going to Settings. For this, you have first to open Google Dialer.

Here you have to go to Settings. You must click on the three dots in the top right corner for this. As soon as you click on it, some options will appear in front of you, which will also have the setting.

On clicking on the setting, you will get the option of Caller ID & Spam. You have to click on this. Here you have to turn on the toggle of See Caller and Spam ID. Then the option of Filter Spam Calls has to be turned on.

With this, spam calls coming to your phones will be blocked automatically. However, with this feature, only those calls will be blocked, which people have marked as spam are.
