Twitter Paid Verification

Twitter Paid Verification: Nothing in the world comes for free… The new CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, has taken this adage seriously. According to a report in The Verge, social media platform Twitter is planning to charge its users USD 19.99 (over Rs 1600) for the Twitter Blue subscription.

Under the current plan, verified users will have 90 days to pick up or lose their blue tick. Employees working on the project were told they needed to meet the November 7 deadline to launch the feature, or they would be fired.

The report comes a day after Musk tweeted that Twitter would revise its user verification process. He tweeted and wrote that the verification process is being revamped.

The Process Of Blue Tick Started Last Year

Let us tell you that the process of Twitter Blue Tick started a year ago. In April this year, Musk expressed his desire to buy Twitter, which Twitter accepted. However, a few days later, Musk said that the company was not disclosing its fake users.

In July, there was a new twist in the purchase of Twitter, and Musk talked about ending the deal. The Tesla CEO did this by alleging that Twitter violated their mutual purchase agreement by misrepresenting the number of spam and fake bot accounts on its platform.

After Musk announced the end of the deal by Musk, the market saw a sharp decline. Later, Twitter sued Musk, accusing him of using bots as an excuse to pull out of a deal. Then last week, Musk confirmed that he had approved the agreement with Twitter.
