The shooting happened at Virginia Commonwealth University, where there was a shooting during the high school graduation ceremony. 7 people have been injured due to this firing. Out of which, the condition of three is critical. In this case, the police have detained two suspects.
The graduation ceremony was cancelled after the firing incident came to light. Police said that off-duty security officials reached the spot after the incident.
Those who were injured in this firing have been admitted to the hospital. Some people were shot, two were injured due to a fall, and one was hit by a car. Three people are in shock due to this accident and are undergoing treatment.
Police said two suspects have been arrested. So far, the reason for this firing has not been revealed. “We have cancelled the Thomas Jefferson High School graduation because this incident occurred at the end of the Huygenk High School graduation ceremony,” a spokesperson said.
