Russia Bluntly Said About Crude Oil, Then Pakistan Took A U-Turn

The government of Pakistan is an expert in lying and going back on its word. Recently many such cases have come to the fore. Pakistan has also taken a U-turn in importing crude oil from Russia at low prices. Moscow had clearly said that the price at which oil is given to India could not be given to Pakistan; after this, Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Zardari Bhutto said that Pakistan would not buy oil from Russia.

Two Ministers Of Pakistan Clashed

There was a difference of opinion between the two ministers of Pakistan regarding this matter. Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister Musaddiq Malik said I want to congratulate the people that the visit to Russia was successful.

Russia will make petroleum available at low prices. Pointing towards India, he had said that Russia would give crude oil to Pakistan at the same price as the discount being given internationally. Due to this, the crisis in Pakistan will be reduced, and oil costs will be reduced.

Bilawal Bhutto Changed His Mind

Let us tell you that on November 29, the Pakistani minister went to Russia with a delegation. Bilawal Bhutto has said in New York that Pakistan will not take petroleum products at cheap rates. No effort is being made for this.

He said Pakistan is facing a big economic crisis, and the crisis in the energy sector also persists. Measures are being taken to deal with this. However, Pakistan still needs time to be able to buy oil from Russia. Bhutto has gone to America to attend the UNSC meeting.

It Is Very Difficult For Pakistan To Buy Oil

The $60-a-barrel limit imposed by the G-7 countries and the European Union is triggered. Moscow has said that countries that do not follow this limit will not be given oil. Russia had also asked Pakistan to buy oil under this cap, although Pakistan does not have that much capacity. That’s why he will not be able to buy oil from Russia. If Pakistan had made any other agreement with Russia, its relations with G-7, America and European countries could have deteriorated.
