Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant displayed explosive batting against Gujarat Titans. This wicketkeeper-batsman scored 88 runs in 43 balls. Especially, Rishabh Pant hit many sixes and fours on Mohit Sharma’s balls. Rishabh Pant scored 62 runs on 18 balls of Mohit Sharma. This is the first time in T20 history that a batsman has scored more than 60 runs against a bowler of the opposition team. At the same time, the opposition batters scored 73 runs in Mohit Sharma’s four overs against Delhi Capitals.

Rishabh Pant Overtook Pakistan’s Usman Khan

Earlier, this record in T20 format was held under the name Usman Khan. Usman Khan had scored 54 runs against Qais Ahmad in the Pakistan Super League, but now Rishabh Pant has made the record in his name. After this, Cameron Delport is at number three. This batsman had scored 53 runs against Tom Curran. In IPL 2013, Virat Kohli scored 52 runs on Umesh Yadav’s balls. At the same time, Hashim Amla had scored 51 runs against Lasith Malinga. However, Rishabh Pant has now occupied the top of this list.

Shameful Record Registered In The Name Of Mohit Sharma

Apart from this, the shameful record of giving the most runs in the history of IPL has been registered in the name of Mohit Sharma. Delhi Capitals batters scored 73 runs in 4 overs of Mohit Sharma. At the same time, Delhi Capitals scored 224 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs based on the stormy innings of Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel. In response, Gujarat Titans scored 220 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In this way, Delhi Capitals, led by Rishabh Pant, registered a thrilling victory by 4 runs.
