Mahindra is launching three new SUVs this festive season. The launches will begin with the updated Bolero Neo and standard Bolero, arriving on October 6th. The company will also launch the facelifted Thar 3-door a few days later. In addition to these three SUVs, Mahindra is also preparing to refresh its popular XUV700 range, which is set to be launched early next year.
First, let’s talk about the Bolero Neo. This car, formerly known as the TUV300, received a new name in 2021. This is its second Facelift. It features a new grille, slightly revised bumpers, and minor interior updates. Top variants may also receive new upholstery and some additional features. According to dealers, Mahindra has tuned the suspension for increased comfort. There will be no changes to the engine.
Minor Changes To The Standard Bolero
In addition to the Bolero Neo, Mahindra will also make minor updates to its popular standard Bolero. Not much is known yet, but it will feature minor cosmetic changes on the outside and some updates on the inside to freshen it up. Mahindra’s most reliable vehicle for over two decades, the Bolero, remains a best-selling SUV, especially in smaller cities and rural areas.
That 3-Door Facelift
After the Bolero, the company will focus on the Thar 3-door facelift. The second-generation Thar, launched in October 2020, has sold over 2.59 lakh units so far, proving to be a blockbuster. This year, the Thar 3-door has accounted for more than half of the Thar family’s sales, while the larger version, the Thar Roxx, has also been introduced. The new Facelift will incorporate several updates from its larger model, such as a premium cabin, soft-touch materials, and a larger infotainment screen in the top variants. Exterior design changes have not been announced yet, but the engine lineup is expected to remain unchanged.
