Mahindra is giving a complete facelift to its XUV 300 with a new look, updated features and a new name. Upcoming XUV 3XO: It is all set to make its official debut in India on April 29, 2024, and ahead of the launch, the carmaker has teased some features and design elements of the XUV 3XO.
What Did You See In The Teaser?
As seen in the latest teaser and speculated in previous teasers, the new XUV 3XO will get a segment-first dual-pane panoramic sunroof. It will also get features like a new infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, remote AC control through smartphone, digital instrument cluster, new steering wheel, and updated dashboard layout, which may be similar to the XUV 400.
New Features Will Be Available
We expect the XUV 3XO to get features like dual-zone climate control, a powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a 360-degree surround camera, a lane-watch camera, and a wireless charger.
Engine and Combat
This SUV will have the same powertrain options, including a 1.2-litre NA petrol, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox. After launch, Mahindra XUV3XO will compete with Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger in the segment. Tata Nexon is in the market with one diesel and one petrol engine. Both engines come in manual and AMT transmission options. Tata Motors only gave a facelift update to this SUV last year.
EV Model Will Also Come In The Market
In addition, Mahindra is preparing to launch the electric version of its SUV, which can be introduced by the end of this year. This electric SUV will be rivalled by segment leader Tata Nexon EV, which offers a range of up to 465 kilometres per charge.
