IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Virat Kohli seems to have ended his recent spat with Lucknow Super Giants’ Afghan bowler Naveen-ul-Haq and his mentor Gautam Gambhir after the Indian Premier League (IPL). On Wednesday, Kohli shared a cryptic video of American stand-up comedian Kevin Hart.
Kohli’s New Post Voes Viral After His Spat With Gambhir
In the video, American stand-up comedian Kevin Hart says, Malice, anger, negativity. I don’t have time for that because I live to do so many positive things. I can’t wallow in the past and what was wrong. Although Kohli did not mention it, the video can be taken as an attempt to move on from the controversial incident.
Shared Shocking Video
Kohli had a heated argument with Naveen-ul-Haq and Kyle Mayers of LSG after the Afghan player misbehaved with Kohli while shaking hands after the match. Gambhir, Kohli’s former colleague in the Indian and Delhi Ranji teams, courted controversy when he spat with the former RCB skipper. LSG captain KL Rahul and other players had to intervene. Kohli, Naveen and Gambhir were heavily fined by the IPL for their respective roles in the incident.
Kohli Mailed To BCCI Officials
According to reports, Kohli told some BCCI officials that he did nothing wrong to Naveen and Gambhir. Since then, Naveen-ul-Haq has made veiled comments about the incident through his social media accounts. In his opening remarks, he said he had come to India to play cricket and was verbally abused by someone. Kohli was in a celebratory mood after his cheap dismissal against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday as RCB lost by six wickets.
