Car Collides With US President’s Convoy, See In Video How Joe Biden Was ‘Rescued’

On Sunday, a car collided with the convoy of US President Joe Biden, after which Joe Biden was made to sit inside the car amid heavy security. According to reports, the US President has faced such a security situation while leaving his election campaign headquarters in Delaware.

After a massive explosion caused a sedan to collide with an SUV parked at a nearby intersection, about 40 meters (130 feet) from Biden, security personnel quickly bundled the president into his car and drove him away from the building in downtown Wilmington.

The video of this incident is going viral on social media. A White House official who witnessed the incident told an AFP correspondent, “The president and the first lady are both fine.” At the same time, American Secret Service officials are investigating the entire matter.

Many press reporters were also at the incident outside Biden’s campaign office, where the President and First Lady Jill Biden had dinner with staff. During this time, a reporter can be seen asking Joe Biden a question from a distance, and Biden also heard the sound of the accident and was seen looking towards the spot in surprise.

But as soon as the accident occurred, agents present at the scene sprang into action, surrounding the silver car with Delaware license plates and pointing their weapons at the accident-prone driver, who had his hands raised.

Journalists were immediately surrounded by staff to join the convoy as they left the rain-soaked scene.

“The place is being evacuated; you guys have to leave,” an employee told reporters as security personnel secured the area.
