On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2023, a yoga program was organized at the United Nations Headquarters in New York under the leadership of PM Modi. The name of this program has been included in the Guinness World Records. Not only America but people in many other countries also did yoga.

Representatives of 135 countries participated in PM Modi’s program at UN Headquarters. After this, Guinness World Record official Michael Emprich said this was a world record. Never before had people from so many countries performed yoga together.
Yoga Means Uniting: PM Modi
On a three-day tour of America, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived today, i.e. on Wednesday, to lead the program of Yoga Day at the UN Headquarters. During this, PM Modi also explained the importance of yoga. He said that yoga means to unite, that is, to bring together. I remember here I proposed the International Day of Yoga on 21st June.
Yoga Belongs To India, But There Is No Copyright On It: PM Modi
PM Modi said that India proposed Yoga Day, but no copyright exists. This means everyone can use it for a better life. New York Mayor Eric Adam, Chef Vikas Khanna, United Nations General Assembly President Csaba Korosi, and Hollywood star Richard Gere participated in the program Yoga Day.

PM Modi said that people of any age can do yoga. Yoga can be done at home, during work or anywhere. Yoga can be done either alone or in a group. Yoga is a way of life.
