However, Dhoni and Jadeja laugh in the video shared by the Chennai Super Kings franchise from the team’s camp. The two players have met for the first time since the controversy erupted last season. During IPL 2022, Chennai Super Kings surprised everyone by appointing Jadeja as their new captain.
Midway through the tournament, Jadeja had to relinquish the captaincy as the team was performing poorly, and Dhoni was again given the captaincy. Even after becoming the captain of Dhoni, the team could not show much amazing and finished ninth in the 10-team tournament.

Ravindra Jadeja recently said on Star Sports, “I told Mahi Bhai that my cricketing journey has been between my coach Mahendra Singh Chauhan in Jamnagar and my captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in CSK. My cricketing journey is actually between these two Mahendra Singh Dhoni. has been between.” Chennai Super Kings will open their campaign in IPL 2023 against defending champions Gujarat Titans.
