Skoda Auto has unveiled its most affordable electric car. The new Skoda Epiq electric SUV can be launched in 2025. The company has taken its name from the word ‘epic’, which is approximately 4.1 meters long, slightly shorter than the Skoda Kushaq. Let us know about the company’s new EV.
Skoda Epiq Design
The Skoda Epiq shares its underpinnings with the VW ID.2. The exterior design of this electric car adopts modern solid design language. The company says that it includes smart functionality and practicality. On the front is the new Tech-Deck face.
There are new T-shaped LED DRLs on the sides of the grille and headlights with matrix LED technology below. The bumper has massive vertical slats, making it look like a Jeep SUV. Flared wheel arches and T-shaped LED taillights have been added at the rear.
Skoda Epiq Interior
The cabin of the Skoda Epiq Concept comes with a dual-tone theme. The model gets a two-spoke steering wheel, a 5.3-inch virtual cockpit and a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Skoda says there are several useful features throughout the cabin, including wireless charging and a boot capacity of up to 490 litres.
Charging and Range
The Skoda Epiq electric SUV can offer a range of up to 400 km on a single charge. Its prices will be around 25,000 Euros (approximately ₹23 lakh) in the European market.
