Blinken said that we (America) believe that to maintain lasting peace, both sides must follow certain things. The forced displacement of Palestinian citizens from Gaza after the war should be stopped. Israel should also ensure that it will not recapture Gaza after the war is over. Instead, the Palestinian government will rule there. After the war, Gaza should be merged with the West Bank so that a Palestinian government can be formed here.
