According to PTI, the country’s leading car company Maruti Suzuki India has recalled three models to fix a possible fault in the rear brake assembly pin. The models that have been recalled include Wagon R, Celerio and Ignis. According to the information shared by the company, a total of 9,925 units will be taken back for repair.
Information in this regard has also been shared on the company’s website by Maruti Suzuki India due to a defect in the brake assembly. It has been told that three hatchback cars are being recalled due to a possible defect in the rear brake assembly pin part.
Due to a defect in this part, there is a lot of noise when driving the car. At the same time, due to this defect, the performance of the brakes of the car may decrease in the long run.
The Company Will Do The Right Thing For a Free
The company said the pin part might also break in some situations and cause a loud sound due to this defect. The report quoted the company as saying that we have decided to recall the affected cars given the customers’ safety.
The company’s authorized workshops will contact the customers in this regard, and after investigation, the defects in the affected vehicles will be rectified free of cost.
It is worth noting that the effect of the increase in the sale of Maruti Suzuki’s cars is also visible in its net profit. If we look at the results of the second quarter released by the company in the past, the company’s profit has increased 4 times. MSIL’s net profit rose to Rs 2,112.5 crore.
