Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has started preparing for IPL 2023. A video of him has surfaced in Chennai, where he is practising batting in the nets. This could be Dhoni’s last IPL season, and in such a situation, he would like to make this season memorable.
This time IPL season will be played in its old home and away format, and for this reason, after many years, Chennai Super Kings will play matches in front of their home fans at Chepauk Stadium. Chennai fans can once again see Dhoni playing on his home ground.

IPL 2023 will start on 31 March, and the final match will be played on 28 May. This time also, a total of 74 games will be seen. This time also, the teams have been divided into two groups. Chennai Super Kings are in Group B, including Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The team will play seven matches in Chepauk and seven games away from home.
The first match of the season will be played between CSK and Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. The team will play against Lucknow Super Giants on 3 April at their home. MS Dhoni’s team has to play their last league match against Delhi Capitals on 20 May.
